Question
Hi. I'm 14 and have never had sex. I had my period about two weeks ago and it is not close to my next. When I use the bathroom, I seem to find a clearish, gooey, snot-like thing hanging down when I go to wipe. This has been happening for about the past week. I have never been to the gynocologist and am scared to talk to my parents about this. Is this normal? Could I have an infection?

Perfectly normal -- this is fertile mucous -- it means you are ovulating and very fertile! It happens about mid-cycle.
