    Question

I'm the 16 year old that doesn't know how to tell my dad my girlfriend is pregnant. I know it would help having another adult, but I'm not sure it would help, if you know what I mean. My father is kind of hot tempered and in the past has put his hands on me phyically. Is there any way I could give hints to where he may ask around and eventually figure it out, or would that just make him mad for not telling him. As you can see, I'm kind of scared of my father, since he's hot tempered. Well another thing I found out is my girlfriend's parents don't know, even though she told me she told them. So knowing her dad abuses her do you think it would be better if I was with her when she tells them so they won't think I'm holding out on my responsibility as a parent? plzzz answer back thankkss

    Answer

It is hard to try and help via the Internet. Please talk to a counselor at school, at Planned Parenthood (Dallas) or Terrell Health Services (972) 563-7571. They will help you two decide what to do and then are safe putting your plan into place. Good luck!
