Question

My 3-year-old and 4-year-old daughters both have a green slimy discharge in their underwear and when they wipe. They both have a very strong odor. What could this be? Their doctor doesn't know what this is or what to do.

Answer

It's difficult to determine what the green malodorous discharge is caused by. However, your daughters may have an infection or vaginal bacterial imbalance. Please take them to a family medicine physician to have this evaluated and treated ASAP.
