Question
My girlfriend has an IUD. During intercourse I felt some plastic inside her vagina. I felt with my finger and could feel and see two white strings. The strings reached about one inch away from the entry of her vagina. Is it possible that the strings are that long or do you think the IUD fell out of place? Is it likely that she may become pregnant?
Answer
Sometimes the strings are really that long... If they bother you her doctor can trim them.
