Question
I have these white spots on my skin (on my calf) that appear after standing or running. I'm 17. My mother also has them, I could not find any information on this. Is it common? Is it hereditary?
Answer
It's hard to tell what is going on without seeing the spots, but you are probably just getting a type of vascular pattern on the skin that makes some parts look slightly more reddish and some parts much paler. It is a benign condition, not always hereditary, although in your case, it appears to be. Hope that helps!
