    Question

Can you get a vaginal infection or HPV from a pool?

    Answer

The short answer is no. Causes of vaginitis or sexually transmitted infections are not transmitted via pools. These infections need skin-to-skin contact to spread. Irritation of the skin from chlorine or drying from pools can cause itching, and then scratching can set up skin or local vaginal infection, but that would not be an infection directly from the pool itself.
