    Question

I feel like I am in way too much strees. My parents are now getting in fights constantly and putting me in between them because each of them want me to be in their side. Then to top it off, my friends are talking bad about each other. Help!! Please!

    Answer

You are so right! This is too much stress! I suggest that you:
    1. Ask to speak to your parents, and tell them that you need them to keep their business private and that you will not be placed in the middle.
    2. Ask them to help you find a counselor covered by your insurance that you can talk to about the stress you are feeling
    3. Follow through and meet the counselor. You will be amazed how nice it feels to have someone 100 percent there for you.
Bottom line: you need to take care of you. Staying out of your parents issues and find an objective adult to talk to -- a doctor, counselor at school, minister, someone! Good luck!
