Does having sex for the first time hurt?
Answer
Whether it hurts or not depends on lots of things. First, there is likely to be the breaking of the hymen, which does hurt. Second, most first sexual experiences are quick and really not very positive, so there is not much lubrication, which means more ouch!
You did not ask my opinion, however, after talking to hundreds of girls about their first sexual experiences, I can tell you that most wish they had waited. There are also good reasons to wait until you are older than 18 - when your cervix is not as vulernable.
