Question
I lost my virginity about four months ago and have been having sex with the same partner since then. He has been active before. Since then, I believe I had a yeast infection. Sometimes I get yellowish discharge. Also, I was wondering if fingering is not a good idea, if his fingers may be dirty and cause some extra bacteria to enter. The other day I swelled up all around down there and then later whitish discharge exited. Now I have noticed that there is skin peeling around where my pubic hair is and have noticed in the past couple times while enduring in intercourse that it irritates above my vagina where my pubic hair is. I am just wondering if you have any insight onto anything mentioned above. Thank you very very much. Anything would be much appreciated.
Answer
If you have been sexually active for four months, it is time for you and your boyfriend to see your doctor or a Planned Parenthood doctor and get checked for Chlamydia and other sexually transmitted infections, start using a reliable method of birth control, and ask any questions you might have about all of the symptoms you listed.
