    Question

I have a boyfriend. I know he likes me but I'm not sure if I feel the same back. I know that he wants more from me because we are getting deeper in the relationship, but I am not sure if I am ready to give it to him, and I don't want to hurt him by saying no (plus my parents don't accept him for who he is).

    Answer

Go girl! Listening to your heart and thinking this through is great! You already have the answer - it is wait and slow it down. You do not want a broken heart or regrets and neither does he. The joy of real love is that it grows over time and waits until you are both 100 percent sure. If his feelings are hurt and he does not respect that voice in your head saying - wait and slow down - then it is evidence that he does not really like you! You deserve respect and will really be glad you waited!
