    Question

I heard if you get the IUD and have sex with someone who has a sexually transmited disease that it will kill you. Is this true?

    Answer

Heavens no! Sexually transmitted infections are dangerous and condoms should be used all the time, even when using a birth control method to prevent pregnancy. IUDs will not cause an STI to kill you.
