    Question

My girlfriend and I recently had sex. We went from anal to vaginal intercourse while wearing a condom. Are there any consequences in doing this? Can this cause an STI or anything of that nature? Thank you for taking the time.

    Answer

Not a good plan unless you changed the condom in between the anal and vaginal intercourse. The risk is not sexually transmitted infections, but infections caused by the fecal material from the anus getting into the vagina. Might be good for her to be seen for an exam - at Planned Parenthood or her doctor.
