    Question

    What is nongonococcal urethritis?

    Answer

Chlamydial urethritis accounts for 5 to 20 percent of cases of dysuria. This organism can cause dysuria (painful urination). Gonorrhoeae is another cause for dysuria. Both organisms can be checked with routine STD screening by giving a urine sample.
