Question
I have been sexually active for a year and a half, and for the past few months ago it has been extremely painful to have sex, but only with the insertion of the penis. All of a sudden today I went to the bathroom and when I urinated it burned. Since then I have a constant feeling that I need to make a bowel movement and urinate, and it is very painful. I also have constant cramps in my pelvic region and lower back. What can it be that is wrong?
Answer
Please make an appointment with your doctor or go to your local Planned Parenthood. They will give you a pelvic exam, pap tet, and screen your for sexually transmitted infections. Please be honest and tell her all of the symptoms you are having! Good luck!
