Question
I'm a 12-year-old girl and have never had my period before. About 3 days ago this brown stringy mucusy stuff was coming out of my vagina? What should I do? I am really worried.
Answer
Please do not worry - chances are pretty darn good that you started your period. Wear a sanitary pad, pay attention to how your body feels, and mark it on the calendar. The next time it happens, check the date and see if there is a cycle. Good luck!
