    Question

My little sister is 13 and she is having a lot of green slimy discharge before and after her period. We saw the doctor and he keeps putting her on antibiotics, but it?s not helping. What do you think it may be?

    Answer

It could be that she is having a recurrent bacterial infection and that is why the physician keeps giving her antibiotics. I would recommend returning to the physician when she is symptomatic (when the discharge is present) and have a culture done on the discharge. The culture will give you the bacteria strain/type that may be causing the problem.
