Question
I completed treatment for trichmonas four days ago, but I have started to notice a thick white discharge at least twice a day after I urinate. Is this from the medication? Is this a sign of a continued infection? Is this a normal discharge?
Answer
Hard to tell, but if it does not get back to normal within the week you might want to go back for an exam -- test of cure sort of thing -- to make sure it is gone. If you did not have sex during treatment, it should be gone, but your partner should have also been treated (even without any symptoms) so you are not re-infected.
