    Question

I lost my virginity yesterday to someone I talk too/went with for a year now. I didn't bleed during sex or after. And afterwards he was like "aren't you supposed to bleed?" I'm not sure if I have a hymen or not. I was a virgin and I used tampons before and I have run track about three years. Now I have a little rip at the bottom of my vagina that's bleeding a little. Am I gonna be okay?

    Answer

No worries about not bleeding the first time, not everybody does. And ouch re: the little rip. Keep that area clean and dry, a little neosporin may help, as well as baths with no bubble bath or salt, just warm water soak. If there is any redness, swelling, or sign of infection, go see a doctor, please!
