Question
My 11-year-old daughter has a yellowish discharge with no odor. She has not started her period. What could be wrong? She doesn't itch either.
Answer
It sounds perfectly normal and if it is more than just a little, she could wear a small pad. But it is not uncommon to have that discharge for up to a year before a period starts. If you're worried, she can chat with her doctor at her next physical.
