Hi: my girlfriend is talking dirty to a guy from her work and doesn't know that I know. What should I do and how do I tell her? Please help, we've been together four years.
Answer
Four years is a long time, and should make it easier for the two of you to talk openly about the talking dirty situation. Honesty is really important, and you should go into the conversation knowing clearly what your feelings are. Does it hurt your feelings, do you feel betrayed, do you worry she likes someone else, are you surprised she would demean herself? What bothers you, and then tell her what you hope she will do.
Her response and willingness to talk about feelings may tell you a lot about your relationship. I am sorry, and good luck!
