    Question

I'm 18 and I am currently sexually active. I dont want my mom to know because it's not her business in my opinion. The obgyn is not allowed to tell my mom that I'm sexually active without my permission because of doctor patient privilige correct?

    Answer

In all states 18 is an adult, so the doctor cannot tell your mom, but if you are on her insurance, she may see the bill, so I suggest you find your local Planned Parenthood and ask them how to be seen without the billing statement going home.
