    Question

I want to track my ovulation. I normally have a period that starts with two days of light brown discharge, before my normal flow. When should I calculate the start of my cycle from, the discharge or the flow?

    Answer

Not that easy. You can use the Billings Method, which requires that you take your temperature every morning before getting out of bed, as well as monitoring your discharge daily. You create charts that can help you estimate your ovulation, or use very expensive urine tests to help you know when you will ovulate.
