Question
My sister has a friend that is being verbally abused by her parents and it has gotten so bad that my sister's friend has cut herself and tried to kill herself. My sister has said if her best friend kills herself she is gonna do the same.

Please tell your sister that her friend needs support immediately--from a non-abusive adult, teacher, counselor, doctor, clergy member, etc... The hotline page on the We're Talking Teen Healthsite has suggestions for the depression and cutting: http://www.pamf.org/teen/hotlines.html
