    Question

I have read several Q&A's and none of them are answering what I need an answer too. So I just got off my period on the 9th and then I had sex and the condom broke so I took the plan B. A few days later on the 15th I bled for like 3 days now starting yesterday I started to have a dark brown almost black discharge mixed with a lil blood. I'm so curious to what it is cause I've never seen this. Thanks for your advice.

    Answer

Plan B really messes with your cycle and it can take months to get back to normal, which is why it cannot be used as a method of birth control. You can give your doctor a call if you are worried though and maybe consider another form of birth control in addition to condoms, which are great for preventing sexually transmitted infections.
