    Question

How can HPV be passed during oral sex?

    Answer

ANSWER: It is not really known whether HPV can be passed via oral sex. It makes theoretical sense that it could, as viral warts, or papillomas, caused by HPV types that are also found in genital warts can be found on the vocal cords. In general, the risk of getting warts or HPV in the mouth area is probably far lower than the risk of transmission and infection of the genital area.
