    Question

    im 11 on april 27, theres a cute boy in my class and i think hes hot but theres another girl in my class and he likes her and im afraid he hates me but i dont know. On valentines day i gave him a valentine card but he ripped it up and threw it away and when i see him i get tingley inside but in a good way. how do i know if he likes me or not?

    Dear Teen

    To know if someone likes you or not you can pay attention to how he treats you. Do you know why he threw your Valentine away? That was a while ago and is he acting differently now? What is he doing that makes you think he hates you? Kids your age often get information from their friends about whether someone is interested or not. Somtimes boys will tease you and it means they like you because they are paying attention to you. Your "tingley" feeling tells you that you are attracted and may also feel a little nervous around him. Continue to be friendly and see how he responds. Relationships and feelings can change very quickly at this age, but if he is treating you badly find someone else to focus on.
