LIFESTEPS® Weight Management Program:
Are you struggling to reach and maintain a healthy weight? Have you gone on and off diets, losing and gaining the same pounds over and over again? Join a small group (eight to15 participants) comprised of people who are on a similar journey, and discuss your experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Personal choice, responsibility and accountability are stressed, placing each individual in charge of his or her own eating and activity behaviors. LIFESTEPS® recognizes that people are unique with different eating and exercise habits, weight loss goals and daily schedules. Therefore, when you participate in LifeSteps, you tailor the program steps to fit your own needs. Join us for this year-long weight management program that consists of 16 core sessions and six monthly post-core sessions.

New Weigh of Life - A Year-Long Program
This diabetes prevention program is well-suited for overweight individuals with pre-diabetes or insulin resistance. Individuals diagnosed with diabetes are also welcome, provided diabetes self-management training has been completed.
Our program uses the University of Pittsburgh's Group Lifestyle Balance™ Program, an evidence-supported adaptation of the original National Institutes of Health/National Institutes of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease diabetes prevention program. Results from this program show that an average weight loss of 7 percent body weight with moderate activity reduced the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58 percent (and as much as 71 percent for people over the age of 60).
Participants will learn behavior modification and lifestyle changes for weight loss, improved health and risk reduction. Join us for this year-long weight management program that consists of 16 core sessions and six monthly post-core sessions.
