The Department of Orthopedics is located at both the Palo Alto Medical Foundation's (PAMF) Palo Alto Clinic and Fremont Center. Orthopedic surgeries are performed at the Stanford University Medical Center.

The Palo Alto Medical Foundation's (PAMF) Palo Alto Clinic, a 305,000-square-foot campus, was completed in 1999 and boasts state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The Palo Alto Medical Foundation's (PAMF) orthopedic surgeons perform operations at Stanford University Medical Center. The medical center is located on the Stanford campus, across the street from the Palo Alto Clinic. It includes Stanford Hospital and Clinics, one of the world's top hospitals; the internationally renowned Lucile Packard Children's Hospital; and the Stanford University School of Medicine.
