Forging partnerships, creating change
The Palo Alto Medical Foundation is much more than a place for people to come when they are sick. We are also actively involved in a full spectrum of outreach activities designed to help people stay healthy. Our community outreach efforts extend far beyond Palo Alto to encompass our new affiliate, the Camino Medical Group in Sunnyvale, as well as our four satellite clinics: the Fremont Center, the Los Altos Center, the Redwood Shores Health Center and the Women's Health Medical Group in Portola Valley. Many physicians, researchers and other PAMF staff members sit on boards of community organizations, participate in collaborations with area schools, advise senior citizen groups and take part in many other activities that impact the health of the community. By forging strong partnerships with our neighbors, we open up new opportunities for exchanging ideas, sharing resources and creating the kind of change necessary to foster more vibrant health for everyone in our community.
