the face of need
Changing perceptions, compelling realities
To recognize the Face of Need, one must look beyond appearances to gain a deeper understanding of realities that are not always seen at first glance.
At the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF), we are aware of these realities every day. Our clinicians and caregivers perceive and respond to the needs of their patients, who depend on them for compassion and care. The health experts in our Education Division anticipate the changing needs of our community – providing services, information and support. And every day, the medical scientists of our world-class Research Institute explore the needs of the future by asking important questions and quietly searching for answers. Indeed, so many people have come to expect consistent excellence from PAMF that they often overlook that we have compelling needs of our own, needs that can only be met with ongoing support from our community.
We hope you will gain a new appreciation for the Face of Need, and reflect on your own perceptions of PAMF's vital role in our community.
