To Share the Gifts of Life Well Lived.
Giving with Purpose
What inspires people to share their good fortune with others? The reasons are as varied and unique as the individual behind each gift. Hope for the future. Desire for security. Gratitude for compassionate care. These and many other reasons can motivate one to seek out a deeper philanthropic expression of a life well lived.
At the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF), the very act of making a planned gift engages the donor in a thoughtful process where individual intention is matched to a relevant giving opportunity. Some donors choose to design their planned gift with the guidance of trusted legal and financial advisors, while others begin the process by contacting our philanthropy staff, who can provide a wealth of knowledge about the many choices available.
Ultimately, each gift becomes a distinct expression of what truly matters to each donor. Whether inspired by family, community, knowledge or friendship, a common thread links the unique individuals profiled in the following pages: A desire to ensure the quality of health care in our community today and for generations to come.
