Dr. Maurice (Maury) Fox

Remembered retired endocrinologist Maurice Fox: "When Russ Lee saw that patients liked me, and that I knew what I was doing, he turned over more of his patients to me. He introduced me to some of these patients, and he said, ‘He's the son of a famous rabbi; he'll take good care of you.' One time I heard him say this and I said, ‘Russ, my father ran a grocery store.' And Russ said, ‘If I say you're the son of a famous rabbi, you're the son of a famous rabbi.'"
