Advanced Vision Center Unveils
New In-House Surgical Lasers

The Palo Alto Medical Foundation's Advanced Vision Center in Sunnyvale now has two state-of-the-art surgical lasers. According to LASIK surgeon Yichieh Shiuey, the in-house lasers will be the only lasers on the Peninsula that can do Intralase Assisted Keratoplasty procedures.

"This state-of-the-art center will be able to provide the latest vision correction treatments available anywhere in the world," he explains. "It will also enable us to perform laser incision corneal transplants and other corneal procedures that are currently unavailable anywhere else on the Peninsula."

In addition to the Intralase Assisted Keratoplasty procedure, PAMF's Advanced Vision Center also offers custom Wavefront LASIK with Intralase, and Intacs to treat keratoconous.
