LASIK
The most common advanced vision correction procedure is LASIK, which is suited for many patients with farsightedness (hyperopia), nearsightedness (myopia) and astigmatism.
LASIK corrects these conditions by reshaping the clear surface of the eye (cornea) so that it will focus the light entering the eye correctly and allow the back of the eye (retina) to send a clearer picture of what the eye is seeing to the brain.
