Cancer Patient Advisory Council
PAMF's Cancer Patient Advisory Council was created in 2006 to ensure that all patients receive high quality, personalized care as a part of a compassionate team. This group's charter is to:
- Inform, assess and improve the experience for patients and their families/caregivers
- Collaborate with Cancer Care team to assess and improve the patient experience from diagnosis to post-treatment and survivorship
- Participate in survey question design and ongoing evaluation of program content and effectiveness
- Enhance, implement and evaluate the survivorship program in collaboration with Cancer Care providers and staff
- Advise on creation and effectiveness of patient resources, classes, community events and complimentary services
- Facilitate partnerships and collaboration with other community groups to improve outreach opportunities, without duplicating well-established patient programs
Our committee includes, but is not limited to:
- Cancer Care Program Clinical Director
- Cancer Care Program Administrative Director
- Committee Chairman and Nurse Navigator
- Oncologists
- Social Workers
- Cancer patients from each region of PAMF
