PAMF is proud to offer Multidisciplinary Clinics to our newly diagnosed breast and prostate cancer patients. During these two- to three-hour visits, patients can meet with the team of specialists selected for them. Multidisciplinary Clinics give newly diagnosed breast and prostate cancer patients the opportunity to learn about all of the treatment options, as well as all of the support services offered at PAMF, within
one session.

After your visit, your multidisciplinary care team will collaborate to plan the best course of treatment for you at PAMF. Multidisciplinary Clinics make it easier for patients to meet with their health care team and schedule all of their appointments for the same day, making care
more convenient.

For breast cancer patients, your team includes:

  • Breast cancer navigator, a registered nurse with specific training and experience in the management of breast cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and into follow-up care
  • Surgical oncologist, a surgeon whose practice is solely dedicated to concerns related to
    breast health
  • Medical oncologist, a physician who will oversee your chemotherapy and/or
    hormonal therapy
  • Radiation oncologist, a physician who will oversee your radiation therapy treatments
For prostate cancer patients, your team includes:
  • Prostate cancer navigator, a registered nurse with specific training and experience in the management of prostate cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and into
    follow-up care.
  • Urologist, your surgeon who performed the prostate biopsy and will discuss the surgical management of prostate cancer
  • Radiation oncologist, a physician who will oversee your radiation therapy treatments (if you select this treatment option
