Shared Medical Appointments

Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a condition in which the heart cannot pump enough blood to the body. While the heart continues working, it does not pump as efficiently as it should. A primary care physician can diagnose CHF. He or she may then refer the patient to the Cardiology Department for follow up and/or treatment.

Aria DiBiase, M.D., holds weekly shared medical appointments (SMA) for CHF patients. The SMAs are designed to help patients treat and manage their CHF on an ongoing basis.
