Baby Safety Basics (Mountain View)
This class is recommended for expectant parents in the second trimester. You will learn about baby-proofing your home with tips to avoid the top five dangers to children. You will see and discuss baby equipment and basic safety devices including some "do it yourself" ideas. Car seat safety will be discussed in overview only. Class Fee: $40 per couple.

Breastfeeding - Secrets for Success (Palo Alto)
Taught by Joanna Koch, our experienced lactation consultant, this class will provide expectant parents with the knowledge and strategies they need to get breastfeeding off to the right start. Partners are encouraged to attend. Once a month either Thursdays, 7 to 9 p.m. or Saturdays, 10 a.m. to noon. Fee: $40.

For patients who are unable to attend a traditional Childbirth Preparation class. Upon registration, receive a book with code for limited online access. Includes a one-hour group question and answer session with a labor-delivery room nurse. Does not include a hospital tour. Class Fee: $40

CPR - Infant & Child (Mountain View)
Learn to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in both infants and children up to 8 years old. This hands-on class uses both infant and child manikins to teach both infant and child CPR. No certification is given for this class. Fee: $40 per couple.

CPR - Infant Emergencies & CPR (Mountain View)
Learn basic infant emergency care and participate in hands-on practice for Infant CPR. Learn who to call and what to do for many common infant emergencies situations. Essential Expectant Dad (Santa Cruz)
Bruce Block, M.D., a pediatrician and dad, invites soon-to-be dads to join him for a realistic, informative discussion about your upcoming "Life with Baby." Infant Care (Mountain View)
This single session, two hour class will teach you the basics for a great start to caring for your new baby. New Parent ABC’s – All about Baby Care (Palo Alto)
Ready or not, here comes baby! This two-week class series will help you navigate the amazing transition to parenthood. You'll get hands-on practice in baby care, a guided tour of essential baby equipment and learn a lot about babies in the process. Mondays, twice a month, 7 to 9 p.m. Fee: $55.

Prenatal Yoga (Palo Alto)
During pregnancy yoga will decrease any physical discomforts, increase your fitness and help you sleep better. Learn breathing and relaxation tips for an easier labor while having your questions answered by our experienced yoga instructor and childbirth educator. Each class includes a yoga practice tailored for pregnancy and ends with a time for deep relaxation. Classes are held Tuesdays, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and Thursdays, 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Each series starts the first Tuesday and the first Thursday of every month. Fee: $40 per month.

Taking the European approach of combining exercise and information to prepare for labor, this 2 1/2 hour class will refresh your physical and mental skills for your subsequent birth. Using yoga techniques, we will practice relaxation skills and strategies such as breathing and position changes while also debriefing first labor experiences and exploring how this upcoming birth might be different.
