Baby Safety Basics (Mountain View)
This class is recommended for expectant parents in the second trimester. You will learn about baby-proofing your home with tips to avoid the top five dangers to children. You will see and discuss baby equipment and basic safety devices including some "do it yourself" ideas. Car seat safety will be discussed in overview only. Class Fee: $40 per couple.

Breastfeeding Your Newborn (Mountain View)
Learn about the benefits of breastfeeding, positions for feeding, signs that a feeding is going well, what to do if a feeding is not going well and strategies for returning to work while breastfeeding. Partners are encouraged to attend class. Class Fee: $30 per couple

Childbirth Preparation 3-Session - Friday (Mountain View)
This three-week series taught by a labor-delivery nurse includes instruction in relaxation, breathing techniques and stages of labor, including also a tour of the El Camino Hospital Labor-Delivery Unit. Choose a class that will finish approximately 4-6 weeks before your due date. Please register promptly as these classes fill up. Class Fee: $145 per couple

This class is held one Saturday for 7 hours. It is taught by a labor-delivery nurse and includes instruction in relaxation, breathing techniques and signs and stages of labor. Class Fee: $100 per couple

Childbirth Preparation Online (Self Study)
For patients who are unable to attend a traditional Childbirth Preparation class. Upon registration, receive a book with code for limited online access. Includes a one-hour group question and answer session with a labor-delivery room nurse. Does not include a hospital tour. Class Fee: $40

CPR - Infant & Child (Mountain View)
Learn to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in both infants and children up to 8 years old. This hands-on class uses both infant and child manikins to teach both infant and child CPR. No certification is given for this class. Fee: $40 per couple.

CPR - Infant Emergencies & CPR (Mountain View)
Learn basic infant emergency care and participate in hands-on practice for Infant CPR. Learn who to call and what to do for many common infant emergencies situations. Learn to identify when a situation involving an infant becomes life-threatening. No certification is given for this class. Fee: $45 per couple.

Infant Care (Mountain View)
This single session, two hour class will teach you the basics for a great start to caring for your new baby. Topics covered in this class include normal infant behavior and development, bathing, swaddling, sleep patterns, and reading and responding to your baby's cues. This is a basic class for those with little or no experience with babies. Class Fee: $30 per couple

OB Orientation (Mountain View)
Discussion covers nutrition, exercise, physical changes, morning sickness, medications safe to take and what to expect on prenatal visits to your doctor. Focused towards first pregnancy. Class Fee: $10 per couple

Sibling Preparation (Mountain View)
This class is designed to include children ages 3 to 8 in preparing for the new baby. Children will learn about what to expect when Mom brings the new baby home and how they can help. Class activities will enhance childrens' understanding of their role in the family and allow them to feel like a participant when baby arrives. Class Fee: $25 first child, $10 each additional child per family.

Tools to Active Birth (Mountain View)
An interactive class focusing on breathing, labor positions, relaxation and partner support. Geared to couples who want more pain coping techniques and practice. Only open to couples who have completed Childbirth Preparation. Class Fee: $40 per couple.

What To Expect With Your Newborn (Mountain View)
This one hour seminar for expectant parents is offered monthly. Led by a PAMF Pediatrician, you will learn about how the pediatrics department works, what happens in the hospital and what to look for in the first few weeks with baby. The doctor covers feeding, common skin conditions, colic and when to call for help. Class Fee: Free
