Heart Smart (Santa Cruz)
This class covers how to manage your high cholesterol and reduce your risk of heart disease. Discussed will be what your cholesterol numbers mean and how to reduce your cholesterol numbers through changes in your diet and lifestyle. This is a one-session class, please bring your lab results to class. Class fee: $20

HMR® Weight Management (Mountain View)
A comprehensive, medically supervised program promoting wieght loss and changes in lifestyle behaviors. Services include medical supervision as needed with classes on behavior modification, nutrition, and exercise strategies. Our team of physicians, nurses and dieticians provide the support you need to reach and maintain a healthier weight and reduce the risk for many chronic diseases. Lifesteps® Weight Management (Fremont)
This program is for the person with modest weight loss goals and teaches goal setting, problem solving and how incorporate healthy food choices and exercise into lifestyle. The class includes an initial one-on-one appointment followed by thirteen weeks of group classes. Class fee: $300 per individual, plus $25 for materials and $50 for participant manual. Taking Charge of Your Body (Palo Alto)
This class is an approach to weight, fitness, and eating without dieting. It is an enlightening six-week class that provides positive reinforcement to the healthful lifestyle changes determined by the participant. It includes an approach that connects eating and exercise. Class Fee: $180 per person.
