    Adult Asthma Management (Fremont)

    This one session class is offered at the Fremont Center and is taught by Palo Alto Medical Foundation staff and trained American Lung Association facilitators. You will learn how to become an active participant in controlling your asthma. Class fee: $35.

    Pre-Diabetes Education (Santa Cruz)

    Intended for anyone with pre-diabetes, impaired fasting glucose, insulin resistance, PCOS, a strong family history of diabetes or who is at risk for developing diabetes. There will be a follow-up class three weeks after the initial class. Open to the community; no referral needed. Pre-registration is required.Class fee: $30

    Supermarket Wise (Mountain View)

    This two-hour walk through Nob Hill Foods in Mountain View will both enlighten and inspire the way you think about grocery shopping. You will learn to read and understand food labels, learn about how most groceries are laid out and walk through the store with a registered dietician as she demonstrates how to make the healthiest choices. Class Fee: $25 per person
