Philosophy of Care
The southerners have a saying that "the evil you know is better than the evil you don't know." It's a phrase used to encourage anyone needing to face something that may be life-changing, or approaching situations that may be fearful.
In the urgent care setting, I not only help patients confront their current disease process. Considerable time is spent educating patients on how to maximize their lifestyles now to help avoid latent effects of present day habits.
My goal is to ensure you leave the urgent care setting with a plan for treatment, improvement and optimization/utilization of specialty care as needed.
