Although there is no cure for diabetes yet, many people live relatively healthy lives by managing their condition carefully. You can avoid many of the problems associated with diabetes by controlling your blood sugar, modifying your lifestyle and taking medications.

The Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) Diabetes Education Department has provided you with the following handouts (.pdf) to help you live a healthy life with diabetes. Remember, it's important that you are in charge of your health.

  • Blood Glucose Goals
  • Blood Glucose Log
  • Basic Carbohydrate Counting
  • Low Blood Glucose Level-Hypoglycemia
