Philosophy of Care
After 30 years of practice with a large number of Internists in the common medical practice model, I now provide care for my patients in all practice settings, as required. As a member of the Encina Practice of Palo Alto Medical Foundation, I am able to provide the full scope of care (outpatient and hospital) as well as be more available to be on call for patient needs. I have more time to interact with patients in all aspects of the physician-patient relationship - evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and education. This allows me to be more proactive in the areas of preventive care, provide more personalized care and provide a continuity of care for my patients over the coming years.
