Dr. Johnson is married with two children. After residency he practiced in Bismarck, North Dakota, for nine years before moving to the Bay Area in 2003 with my wife who grew up in San Jose. After five years in private practice he joined PAMF in December, 2007. He enjoys the outdoors — cycling, hiking and water sports — travel and movies.

Philosophy of Care
I strongly believe that I am a partner in my patient's health. It is my job to educate my patients so they understand their own health and make good decisions. I believe in performing the most appropriate surgery for the specific condition. Much of gynecological surgery is about quality of life; rarely is it due to life threatening conditions. Having these surgeries often allows women to go on with a more productive and fulfilling life.
