Dr. Ikossi is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery and offers patients state of the art surgical treatment with less pain, a shorter recovery time, and a more aesthetically acceptable scar. She has a special interest in the application of Minimally Invasive Surgery Techniques to the treatment of foregut conditions (ie:Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Paraesophageal Hernia, Gastric Cancer), diseases of the small intestine and colon (colon cancer, rectal cancer, diverticulitis), and endocrine surgery (adrenal lesions, distal pancreas, spleen, thyroid and parathyroid conditions).
