Philosophy of Care
As a pediatrician, I have the amazing privilege of witnessing the growth, development and well-being of your child. I strongly believe that parents want what they feel is best for their children, and my role is to educate my families so that they may make informed decisions. While certainly helpful at times, tests and treatments should be recommended when truly benefits do outweigh risks. My goal at the end of every visit is for my families to feel comfortable with the plan of care that they helped to create. There is tremendous opportunity for preventative medicine within pediatrics, and I love caring for children at all ages, from the newborn to the adolescent who is heading off to college. Laughter is frequently the best medicine, and often we exchange plenty during our visits. Getting to know you and your children would be an absolute pleasure and an exciting journey!
