Dr. Schneider is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Also she volunteers with the Palo Alto schools and served on the executive board of the Palo Alto Council of PTAs as VP of health and wellness for 2 years. In addition, she volunteers extensively with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Dr. Schneider and her husband have two children and live in Palo Alto. They enjoy staying active and spending time with friends.
