Philosophy of Care
I treat each patient visit as if Iím listening to a good friend who has come to me for advice. By providing undivided attention while listening to a patient, more often than not they will reveal their diagnosis. After establishing the underlying cause of their issues, I believe in working together to formulate a treatment plan, one that is tailored to fit each individualís unique situation. As a specialist in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, I enjoy treating people with musculoskeletal conditions. I use an array of therapeutic interventions, often beginning with conservative treatments such as physical therapy and progressing toward more aggressive options like x-ray guided spine interventions only as needed. I am most interested in getting to know each individual and what their goals may be, and I feel it is of paramount importance that each individual take an active role in his or her health. My personal goal is to educate and empower individuals to not only understand their diagnoses but more so to make informed decisions regarding their treatment options. Our ultimate shared objective is to facilitate their return to prior activities, whether it is competing in sports, returning to their occupation, or living day to day in the community with optimized function and quality of life.
