Suzanne M. Ware, M.D.

I believe that I am a tool and a resource for each patient to understand their preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions. I do my best to make each appointment an opportunity for discussion of what is important to my patient and will work to have a thorough discussion of care and plan. My goal is to have each patient take charge of his/her own health. I have been told that I have an easy-going style and am a good listener. In this way I hope to obtain complete histories and have a complete understanding of what medical conditions to think of and pursue and work up. I enjoy when patients understand their plans and feel that they understand their medical conditions and tests that are discussed.

I am true to my chosen practice of Family Medicine because I enjoy all age populations -- this includes newborns to geriatrics. I feel I also have a special connection to children and teenagers and can help them feel comfortable coming to me and discussing their concerns. Practicing medicine here at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation is a special place. I have access to multiple specialists and utilize this communication for excellent patient care.
